Christmas

This last month has sure been eventfull! Lots of Christmas parties, and family time. This being Blakes first Christmas I really wanted to make it special. I was just so busy it didn't even feel like Christmas that much. These pics are from the 3 different Christmas celebrations we went to.

This one is from the Meyer Christmas party. Every year grandpa and his kids (my aunts and uncles) and grand and great grand kids get together. We have a nice program, dinner and exchange gifts. This is my favorite party to go to it has been a tradition we have carried on since I was a child.

This is Blake with Great-Grandpa Meyer

These next pictures are of Christmas morning in Rockland. We went there to spend Christmas Eve with Brads family and spent most of Christmas with them. Mom R. always makes the holidays so special. I wish I had gotten more pictures.

The following are pictures of our little family at home for our first Christmas in our home and with Blake. What a special holiday.

Thanksgiving weekend 2013

This last weekend was Thanksgiving. We have so many blessings to be thankful for. We ended up going to Rockland to spend the holiday with family. We had a blast! Brad gets the day after Thanksgiving off so he gets a nice 4 day weekend before the mad rush, and we get a little extra family time. It was really the first time we ventured out with Blake for longer than one night. He had a bit of a cold but he was a champ. The meal was delicious thanks to mom, and the company was even better! Here are some pics of the weekend.

Its becoming a tradition when we are in Rockland for Thanksgiving we go shooting... not just anything... but moms leftover pumpkins from her garden. So fun! Uncle Dave, Jess, and Tana came and went skeet shooting.

We had so much fun on Thursday, we went out Friday too!

This is us relaxing on Sunday before we had to go back to work.

We are so grateful for all our blessings. There are to many to name but above all we are greatful for our family, the ones we saw this weekend and the ones we didnt. We are blessed with a happy home and good jobs to support us and keep us safe and warm. Most of all greatful for our Savior Jesus Christ and his Atoning sacrifice. For the temple where we can worship and gain support and personal revelation for our family and lives. Live has been good to us. Happy Thanksgiving all!

My honey

I cannot express how much I love and appreciate this man. He is so good to me and tries to make me happy every day. He is so funny and makes me laugh every day. He works hard everyday to give me what I want and to provide me security. We have so much fun together. He is such an incredible dad to Blake who loves and plays with him. He just amazes me at his goodness. Love you babe!

Big boy

Blake thinks he is such a big boy. He has been sick for quite awhile and started coughing. So Friday I stayed home from work to hopefully help him feel better. During some of his awake time he was starting to get fussy, so I sat him in the chair. He loved it. He thinks he is such a big boy now, when I tired to move him he got mad. So I put him back into the chair and was happy as can be.

He sneezed in the middle of the picture. I thought it was to cute not to share.

Swimming

Today was a great day! Crystal came to town with Brian and their two sweet girls. Cree is two weeks older than Blake. Crystal, Brian, the girls and Uncle Don wanted to go to Lava to go swimming It was the first time Blake went swimming and it was awesome. Our little family is not to big to all ride in one car. So Crystal, me, and the babies rode in one car while all the boys took the other. When we entered the water Blake was calm and excited. He loved floating, and playing around with his dad. He loves the water but sure doesnt like having his head under water. We tried it twice and he came up a very unhappy boy. I took my camera, but the battery was dead. Sad day. It was a great time!! We love family time!

We love grandparents

We love our family so much and love spending time with them!! Grandparents are such special people in our lives and have all molded us in one way or another to the people we are today. We are excited to see the relationships to form between Blake and his grandparents!
