I'm back

It has been a while since I have last posted. Almost a year, but I am going to try and post some pictures and memories so I dont forget them. A good idea that I recently saw on facebook was some family history questions. So I am going to try to go through them in the next few months along with hopefully regular updates. 

Todays questions are:

What is your  name and why did your parents give you that name. When and where were you born? Describe your neighborhood, and the town you grew up in. 

My name, hopefully you all know that, is Lisa Robinson (Meyer). I asked my parents many times why they chose Lisa... and they just liked the name. 

I was born in Idaho Falls, ID at an old hospital by the river. I grew up about 3 miles north of Idaho Falls, in a community called Coltman. No stores or anything but more of an area/section of Idaho Falls. We lived on a corner of of my grandpa and grandma Meyers farm. My parents built a large house on 3 acres and where I called home. I had a good childhood living close to my grandparents and not living to close to any neighbors. We had pets and alot of space to roam. 

Idaho Falls is a large city about 55,000 people. Lots of restaurants and lots of things to do. Its the 2nd largest city in Idaho... and just the right size. I loved growing up there. I still love to go back and visit. I wish I had a better relationship with my dad so my children could experience and visit the life I grew up. We do go to the house every once in a while, but its just not the same as it use to be when I was growing up. Its still a great place to visit.
